In season 13's, "Exodus," when the entire battalion of hunters is trying to come back from "the other world" into their own, Dean gets Lucifer to drive the bus that takes the hunters to the rift between the two worlds!
Of course, given some of the mind-boggling stuff that the fans are used to, this is only trivial. However, in a broader sense, one might see the humor in having Satan drive a bus to get a bunch of humans to safety! Any fan of Supernatural would know that the show brings people, whether humans, angels, or demons, back from the dead all the time. True to that style, Nick, who served as Lucifer's vessel for the most part, was shown trying to bring the Devil back from the Empty, after the latter had been killed by the archangel Michael, possessing Dean.
Nick felt lost once he was free of his possession; he tried to resurrect Lucifer and was very nearly successful until Jack barged in, killed Nick and made sure Lucifer stayed dead. Nick is eventually killed by Jack, after going insane without Lucifer to control him. Mary Winchester wasn't pleased by this move, yelling at Jack, leading him to accidentally kill her in a moment of rage. Sam was always meant to be Lucifer's true vessel in his apocalyptic fight with Michael, but Sam steadfastly refused.
After finally giving in, he was able to turn on Lucifer and force them both into the cage at the end of season 5. Sam gets plucked out of the cage by Castiel, albeit without his soul, leading to nasty complications. Sam would later be tormented by visions of Lucifer in season 7 after his soul had been retrieved, then be lured in again by him in season 11, as Lucifer tried to use Sam to escape the cage under the pretext that only he could defeat Amara.
Sam was smart enough not to believe him, but a close friend of his sadly took the bait. During that same season 11 episode with Lucifer trying to force Sam to become his vessel while inside the cage, Castiel ultimately agrees to let Lucifer take over after the latter promises he can defeat Amara. Of course, being Lucifer, it turned out he was lying. Amara ended up using her powers to remove Lucifer from Castiel's body later in season Surprisingly enough, Castiel remains in good shape following his possession, one presumes due to Amara's immense power being able to protect him from the usual harmful effects of being used and tossed aside by Lucifer.
After burning through a few unnamed hosts following his purge from Castiel, Lucifer ended up inhabiting aging rock star Vince Vincente, after using his typical emotional manipulation tactics. Lucifer quite liked being a rock star, feeling waves of adulation that he'd never gotten to feel before, likening it to being a kind of god. Vince's body was strong, and lasted a while, even after Rowena turned on him and sent him to the bottom of the ocean when he recruited her to help make his latest vessel a more long-term home.
As much as he liked being a rock god, eventually Lucifer was forced to vacate, after which Vince quickly decomposed. After leaving Vince Vincente, Lucifer began possessing a string of powerful people. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login.

He serves as the overarching antagonist of Seasons , the main antagonist of Season 5, an unseen antagonist in Seasons 6 and , the secondary antagonist of Seasons 7 and 11, one of the two main antagonists of Seasons 12 alongside Doctor Hess and 13 alongside the Alternate Michael , the posthumous overarching antagonist of Season 14 and a supporting antagonist in Season He was one of Sam and Dean Winchester's arch-nemeses and God's second archangel, who started a civil war in Heaven over God's love for humans and was imprisoned in Hell for his many crimes against creation.
He would return from his imprisonment on more than one occasion to wreak havoc and death on Earth and would develop ambitions to remake the whole universe in his own image. Lucifer was once the most glorious, beautiful and beloved celestial being ever created by God; God loved Lucifer the most of all His angels.
Because of this, he was very egotistical and prideful. When humanity was created, he was unwilling to accept no longer being God's favorite, and when God commanded all angels to love His new creation more than Himself, Lucifer refused and started a rebellion to overthrow his father and was cast into Hell. Being cast out of Heaven enraged Lucifer, so he struck back by tempting and twisting the soul of a human woman, Lilith.
After completely stripping her of her humanity, her soul was transformed into the very first demon. Shortly after transforming Lilith into the very first Demon, and before the sinking of Atlantis, Lucifer then created the four Princes of Hell as the first generation of Demons aside from Lilith, and he granted them incredible powers and made Lilith and the four princes of hell even more powerful than common angels. Lucifer also created Alistair, the second White-eyed demon, after Lilith.
He made him very powerful, but inferior to Lilith. These demons were Lucifer's rightful successors to the throne of Hell and acted as generals of the demonic forces. They were also created around the same time as Cain when Lucifer passed the Mark over to him, and the Knights of Hell who were also handpicked by Lucifer as an elite fighting force of demons trained by Cain as far superior to regular demons, and were the first of the fallen humans.
Lucifer also granted the Knights of hell extraordinary powers and made them much stronger than regular angels and also made them virtually unkillable. Lucifer then began to corrupt as many souls as he could, he snuck into the Garden of Eden and Lucifer tricked Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit.
Lucifer successfully corrupted millions of other humans and turned them into demons. Lucifer also created red-eyed demons known as "Crossroad Demons" and tasked them to buy souls thru making deals with humans. These deals consist of the demon granting the human's wish in exchange for ownership over that person's soul, resulting in the person dying and going to Hell to be transformed into a demon upon death.
He then created lesser demons known as "Black-eyed demons" whom are the soldiers, grunts, or henchmen, they are the lowest ranking demons whom are used for doing the grunt work. Lucifer even created "special demons" a very rare and unique breed of demons such as Disaster demons, Daeva, Acheri, Samhain, and the Seven Deadly Sins.
Because of the countless unforgivable and blasphemous profanities against God, Lucifer was further punished by being placed into additional solitary imprisonment within Hell.
He remained there in isolation for millennia. Lucifer's long-term goal was to eventually be freed from the cage, eradicate humanity, and restore Earth to its original "untainted" glory. Crowley once referred to him as a petulant and uncooperative child with daddy issues and suggested that Lucifer also only uses demons as servants and would eradicate them as well because, despite them being his creations, he considers demons to be even less worthy than humans; proof of this is shown when, after several demons sacrifice themselves as part of a ritual to summon Death, Lucifer casually states to a shocked Sam that "they're just demons.
Lucifer claims that he never lies because he doesn't have to. He promises both his vessels, Nick his "backup" vessel and Sam his predestined, true vessel , that he will be honest with them. He also says that he sympathizes with his vessels, both of whom are victims like himself. He goes to some lengths to get Sam's acceptance, sparing Dean's life once and allowing Sam revenge against some of the demons that controlled his life.
However, Lucifer has been proven to mislead on occasion, suggesting that this is more of a ploy to gain trust rather than an actual commitment or he bends this rule when he sees it to his advantage. Lucifer also shows concern for his fellow angels. He captures Castiel and admires the angel's loyalty in refusing to reveal the presence of his human friends; when he invites Castiel to join him and Castiel refuses, Lucifer respects his decision.
He is remorseful when forced to kill Gabriel, and disappointed when Michael berates him during their confrontation in Stull Cemetery.
When preparing to fight his older brother in their predestined battle, Lucifer pleads with Michael to "walk off the chessboard," but Michael remains determined to fulfill his destiny and serve God. Even so, when Castiel molotovs Michael, Lucifer is outraged by the attack on his brother and obliterates Castiel.
Gabriel criticizes Lucifer, describing his actions as "one big temper tantrum". Death makes a similar observation, characterizing Lucifer as a "bratty child. He refuses to accept any blame for his actions and suggests that God intentionally made him the way he is, once asserting that "God wanted the Devil". Lucifer is also highly cruel, barbaric, and treacherous to those who get in his way and, despite his claims of being the victim, he has no qualms about killing anything or anyone, even if he has no true reason for doing so.
For example, he barbarically massacred a majority of the pagan gods simply because they plotted against him, despite the fact that they posed no real threat to him. After getting the book open, Lucifer reveals his true purpose and that he is now God's Favorite, but Lucifer is killed for a second time by Michael with an archangel blade supplied to him by Sam before he can get away with the book.
The power from the fight between Michael and Lucifer and Lucifer's death helps to power Jack up in order to defeat God. Gaines Edgar.

After all, how could God stand idly by while that man broke into your home and butchered your family in their beds?
You're angry. You have every right to be angry. I am angry, too. That's why I want to find Him, hold Him accountable for His actions. Just because He created us doesn't mean He can toy with us like playthings.
I can't. But I can give you the next best thing. God did this to you, Nick. And I can give you justice. I don't need to. Harder than most humans. I don't suppose you'd tell me where you are? Plan B. He can barely contain me without spontaneously combusting. You're the one, Sam. You're my vessel. My true vessel. My heart breaks for you. The weight on your shoulders, what you've done, what you still have to do--it is more than anyone could bear.
If there was some other way I will never lie to you. I will never trick you. But you will say "yes" to me. Hello, Dean. Aren't you a surprise. You've come a long way to see this, haven't you? Don't you think that would be a little It must be painful, speaking to me in this But it had to be your brother. It had to be. Beautiful in a trillion different ways.
The last perfect handiwork of God. I get what the other angels see in you. I know you won't say "yes" to Michael, either. And I know you won't kill Sam. Whatever you do, you will always end up here. Whatever choices you make, whatever details you alter, we will always end up I win. So, I win. Such a nice quality to see in this day and age. Almost all of Heaven wants to see me dead, and if they succeed, guess what?
You're their new public enemy number one. We're on the same side, like it or not, so why not just serve your own best interests? Which, in this case, just happen to be mine? You know I'd never hurt you. Not really. There's only five things in all of Creation that that gun can't kill, and I just happen to be one of them.
But if you give me a minute, I'm almost done. End this whole tiresome discussion? That's crazy, right? I think it will.
I think it'll happen soon. Within six months. And I think it'll happen in Detroit. You keep fanning that fire in your belly. All that pent-up rage. I'm gonna need it. So it was women and children first. I know what you must think of me, Sam.
