Where is dorians house

Some silver goblets sit on a shelf beneath. The second room on the ground floor is sparsely populated by a dining area and storage. Upon the dining table, three hams , an apple , and a loaf of bread with three bottles of mead rest upon silver tableware.

A pantry with three bottles of Surilie Brothers wine, two bottles of cheap wine, and a single bottle of Tamika's West Weald wine atop it stands next to a clutter chest. Two storage barrels stand in the northeastern corner with another sack while a chest and three clutter sacks sit in the southeastern corner.

The private quarters are also quite spacious. Like the ground floor, the private quarters are split into two rooms, with the first serving as a study and the second as Dorian's bedroom. In the study, a large tableware-shelving unit holds a mixture of silver and ceramic items upon it. Dorian' House is a location in the Imperial City and the home of Dorian.

This is a typical upper-middle class house with two floors and a basement. He has two leveled chests upstairs in his bedroom. The front door enters into the moderately sized lounge area of the two-roomed ground floor. Two clutter barrels sit beside a silverware shelf on the northern wall with three clutter sacks and a tableware shelf adorning the area adjacent to the front door, on the eastern wall. A pantry stands against the wall that separates the lounge with the dining area.

The breakfast the next day was fantastic; great selection of fruit, pastries, cereal, and a choice of cooked breakfast from the menu - we had a full English and salmon with scrambled eggs, both were cooked perfectly and tasted lovely - set us up for the day!

The staff at Dorian house were so welcoming and we both feel they couldn't have done anymore to make our stay more enjoyable. We will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you. Dorian House has a quaint charm.

We had a lovely room with a good amount of space and great bathroom for such a reasonable price. The staff were kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. There's a small hill when walking to the city of Bath, which wasn't an issue for us but could be troublesome for guests who are less fit.

Dorian House has their own parking lot, but it was full when we arrived so they graciously issued us a parking pass to park on the street in front. If we return to Bath, we'll certainly stay here again! Wonderful, we were late in the evening, they left the keys out for us with a lovely note explaining everything!

They have a dvd collection we could borrow as well down stairs as well as still or sparkling water in the room! It just felt that every tiny detail had been really well thought out and also gave off the impression of a very luxurious hotel dispite only being little in itself! If you have a chance as well take a turn round the beautifully maintained garden!

Last thing to add is how helpful the staff were, offering personal views, recommendations and advice on how to make the most our time of our time in Bath!

Needless to say we loved Bath and Dorian House and will be back :. Booked this guest house as a surprise weekend away for my partner over the New Years break, very welcoming staff , bed was incredibly comfortable. Room was very well set out, bathroom fabulous deep bath. Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice nothing was too much trouble.

Also there was a small help yourself bar with an honesty box. Dorian house has a very amazing room with great views as it is located uphill. I can see the city of Bath from my room.

The hosts are also very friendly and the breakfast that they provide in the morning is delicious. The city area is about min walk away although if you walk back to the hotel. They also provide parking if you have a car. We had a great time at Dorian House.

On arrival the staff were really friendly and check in was fast. Our room was beautiful, and overlooked the beautiful gardens. The location was excellent, just a short ten minute walk from Bath city centre- perfect for a weekend away. I would definitely stay here again. Amazing breakfast. Totally love it! Would recommend to anyone who come to bath.

The facilities and location looked great on site so we decided to book! GREAT breakfast! The staff is extremely friendly, discreet and helpful. The room was beyond our expectation - very comfortable bed and clean bathroom and great facility in general. We definitely recommend and would go back if around Bath again! Thanks for a lovely stay :! My husband I stayed in Dorian hotel for one night, the room was lovely and cozy, I loved the bed.

Bathroom was tidy with variety of toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Breakfast was great with variety of choices. We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to others who travel to Bath. We were visiting the xmas markets and our granddaughter who is at bath spa uni. Excellent overnight at The Dorian.

Over visiting my daughter at University and location was great, just a short walk to her house. The Dorian Hotel is very comfortable, welcoming, and homely. The breakfast is fantastic, rooms were beautiful and well appointed. Spotlessly clean with real attention to detail.

A 10 minute walk from the centre of town, down a fairly steep hill into town uphill on the way back! We stayed with another couple and it was a perfect location for exploring Bath. A bit of a hill to climb when walking back to the hotel but very manageable.

The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was first class and the room was well presented. A nice touch having robes provided. We would definitely stay here again. Situated 20 minutes walk away from the centre, but with the great advantage of parking, essential in Bath. The hill may be a bit of a climb for some, but bus stops near to hotel.

Excellent breakfast served in delightful garden room. Would definitely recommend. It really was lovely. I was given a large room big 4 poster bed with a view to the garden. Private, quiet and comfortable. Loved the bath as well. I appreciated being able to park on the road and use the parking permit for the duration of the stay.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. All in all, I would definitely return! I was on the top floor, with a queen sized bed, great for one person, but the room may be a little small for a couple. The wardrobe space was virtually non existent. However, lovely staff, and great breakfast, short taxi ride into centre of Bath, good location for exploring the area, we went to Glastonbury and Bream Sands.

I would stay there again. We had an excellent stay at the hotel over a busy back holiday weekend. The moment we turned up with were shown around the hotel and explained what time to expect breakfast and then shown to our room which was called Tallis. It is right at the top of the hotel but with 3 velux windows in the ceiling it gives you a great view of the city. The Pump Room, with its Corinthian columns, glittering chandelier and spa fountain, embodies what was once the heart of the Georgian social scene, when high society flocked to the city for the waters which they believed would relieve all their illnesses and discomforts.

Whilst the Romans would have bathed in the mineral rich water, it was the Georgians who began drinking it in the late seventeenth century. They came here to take the waters, which you can still do today. Open for breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner in July and August , The Pump Room Restaurant serves delicious modern British cuisine by renowned caterers Searcys. One of the most popular quintessentially British traditions to enjoy when visiting Bath is afternoon tea.

The Pump Room Restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for this sophisticated experience, offering a selection of different teas, coffees or Champagne with delicate sandwiches, pastries and cakes.

Special children's afternoon tea menus are often available during holidays. The Pump Room Trio also play in the restaurant daily, providing a wonderful musical accompaniment to your morning coffee or afternoon tea.

You can taste the water, which contains 43 minerals — beware, though, it has quite an extraordinary taste to it!
