For most courses, if you are made an offer, you will be invited to a Departmental Open Day to find out more about your specific course and department. These events will help ensure that you have the information you need to make the decision which is right for you. Departmental Open Days typically take place from January to May and further information will be sent to you after you receive your offer.
We encourage candidates who are invited to attend a Departmental Open Day to do so if possible, even if they have already attended a general Warwick University Open Day. When you have heard from all the universities that you applied to, you will receive notification from UCAS.
You may then select one offer as your Firm choice and, if your Firm offer is conditional, another as an Insurance choice. This should be around words in length and is your opportunity to share any achievements and ambitions you have; we want to understand how a WBS MSc course will help you to develop both personally and professionally, so please avoid repeating information from your CV. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship please indicate this on your Personal Statement.
Whilst not compulsory, providing details of which WBS Scholarship you feel you should be considered for could strengthen your application. This can be done at any British Council office or by your university.
A document will be considered as a valid translation if it has an original stamp from an official translation company and is attached to the original document. If English is not your first language you will be required to provide evidence of your English language ability. Please check individual course Requirements pages for details on required scores. You can find information on accepted English language tests here. If you are a non-native speaker of English and you have been educated entirely in English for the duration of your degree and completed this qualification within the last 2 years, this may be sufficient to satisfy the University of your language skills.
