Your doctor may also prescribe rosuvastatin if you have diabetes , kidney disease , or a family history of rheumatoid arthritis or heart disease. Take our survey. It's usual to take rosuvastatin once a day. You can take it at any time as long as you stick to the same time every day.
Rosuvastatin will not usually upset your stomach, so you can take it with or without food. If you have very high cholesterol, you may be prescribed a higher dose of 40mg a day by a specialist.
